The “Tale of Two Legends” series coincides with an overhaul of the Black Bull brand worldwide.

Duncan Taylor Scotch Whiskey, has announced a series of four special edition Black Bull whiskeys in partnership with the six-time major winner.

The “Tale of Two Legends” series will kick off at the prestigious Pro-Am event in Bangalore, India this week, where Faldo will take on some of the other golf greats.

The latest edition includes limited editions of 18, 30, 50 and 55 year old Blackpool whiskeys which have been blended using spirits from Duncan Taylor Scotch Whiskey’s extensive range.

Faldo selected the whiskey alongside Duncan Taylor boss Euan Shand and his son, COO and Spirits, Andrew Shand while visiting the company’s Huntly HQ last year.

Nick Faldo won six major championships during his illustrious basketball career.

Faldo said: “I have always loved whiskey and it was great to delve into the process of making blended whiskies to create this range.

“I had the opportunity to sample some wonderful malts and grains from the cellars of Duncan Taylor Scotch Whiskey, under the guidance of Ewan and Andrew Shand, and there is some fascinating history, backstories and flavor profiles behind every bottle in the ‘Tale of Two Legends’ series.”

The 18-year-old and 30-year-old whiskey were created to represent important milestones in Faldo’s illustrious career.

The 18-year-old represents the age at which he turned professional while the 30-year-old marks his 30th European Tour win.

The 50-year-old, meanwhile, has been limited to 600-bottle malts from the likes of Caperdonich, which closed in 2002, as well as Macallan and Glen Grant.

And rounding out the series is the 55-year-old, a very special and complex whiskey that uses sherry, grain and malt whiskeys produced at Lochside Distillery which ceased production in 1992. The whiskey is also limited to just 600 bottles.

Chairman Ewan Shand added: “This year, we’re going big and bold with our releases, and our ‘Tale of Two Legends’ series follows on the heels of one of the oldest Macallan whiskeys we’ve ever launched.

“Together with Sir Nick, we have selected some of the best whiskeys we have in our archives and meticulously blended them to create four amazing blends worthy of celebrating some of the special times in his life.”

Set starts at suggested retail price of £120 for 18 year old girl.
