A Ford Transit crashed through a residential wall in Pollokshields around 4am on Sunday before catching fire.
Pictures obtained by The Glasgow Times show the St John’s Street wall amidst the rubble as it was struck.
The surrounding area looks charred.
The number of people who were in the truck when it crashed is currently unknown.
It is not known if anyone was injured as a result of the accident.
Investigations are still ongoing as the force is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At approximately 4am on Sunday, 19 March 2023, Police received a report that a Ford Transit van had crashed into a building in St John’s Street, Glasgow.
“Investigations into the incident are ongoing.”
