Jonatan will take to the field on Sunday as part of the club’s Weekend of Legends II event.
Led by Barry Ferguson and also featuring Jermain Defoe, Sasa Babak, Chris Boyd and Michael Moles, the star-studded Rangers Legends squad will be filled with world-class talent.
Premier League winner, Netherlands’ all-time top scorer Robin van Persie, Champions League runner-up and boy-to-boy Robbie Fowler will play for the World Legends side, along with Jaap Stam, Joe Cole, Michael Essien and more.
On the Rangers FC website, Barry Ferguson said he “can’t wait” to return as captain and added: “Everyone knows how much I love the club, so the opportunity to captain Rangers Legends as captaincy is an honor and I can’t wait to play again in front of the fans.”
