Three girls aged between 12 and 14 have been charged in an incident in which another girl was allegedly kept at a home in Queensland and assaulted repeatedly over several hours.

The alleged incident took place on March 11 after a 13-year-old girl was lured to a house in Tiwantin on the Sunshine Coast.

A police spokesman said the girl was “then prevented from leaving and filmed being assaulted, taunted and stabbed over a period of several hours”.

Her mother said her daughter “must die” after the accident.

She told The Courier-Mail: “She was stabbed in her knee…the tendon just missed her, but her wrist is also broken.”

“Her face was so swollen you couldn’t recognize her…it looked like her head was about to explode.”
