The Taji actor was spotted jogging in St Andrews as filming continued

Ed McPhee was seen wearing tracksuits and a University of St Andrews hoodie while he was photographed jogging in the east of the city.

The 21-year-old was also seen dining among the camera crew at St Andrews Port during a break from filming on Thursday.

The new drama is set to show William’s time at university, where in 2001 he met Kate Middleton, whom he would marry a decade later at Westminster Abbey.

Scenes for Dominic West, 53, who plays William’s father Charles, and Meg Bellamy, 19, who plays the Princess of Wales, were previously reported.

West and McVeigh were also spotted with dozens of extras carrying Union flags and salters in front of the historic St Salvatore’s Church in Fife.

William and Kate became friends during their time at university.

They began a relationship after she caught the eye of the 19-year-old prince when she walked the catwalk in a see-through dress for a charity fashion show.

The couple graduated from the university, which is the oldest in Scotland, in 2005 and divorced briefly in 2007.

But William proposed in November 2010 and the couple got married the following year.

They have three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

In the series, Elizabeth Debicki will reprise her role as William’s mother Diana, with Imelda Staunton continuing as Queen and Jonathan Pryce as Duke of Edinburgh.

The final series chronicled Charles and Diana’s divorce.

It was due to end after the fifth series, but the show’s writer and creator Peter Morgan later said it would be extended into a sixth.
