“The movie Oko Iyabo is not banned, stop spreading falsehood”, Yomi Fabiyi debunks claims that his newly released movie has been banned by YouTube




Controversial Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi has debunked claims that his newly produced movie,Oko Iyabo, has been banned by YouTube.

The actor has been in the news lately following the release of his movie which many termed insensitive. The movie got so many hate hours after it was uploaded on YouTube. Following the backlash, the actor pulled down the movie as Nigerians reported the movie to the video sharing app.

Yomi Fabiyi has taken to his Instagram page to clear the rumours that the movie was banned due to social media outrage. According to the actor, no one can ban his movie.

While admitting that the movie centers around his altercation with actress, Iyabo Ojo, he stated that he never undermined the girl child and that it was doctored so has to get reactions from the public.

He advised his fans not to believe in his naysayers as he would be vindicated someday.

Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote:

The movie

    “OKO IYABO” is not BANNED oh.


    The marketer choose to PRIVATE out of       respect”.
