The Day of the Lambs in April will let the public embrace the cute lambs.
The free event, at Boghead Farm in Lumsden, will let people encounter bright-eyed lambs and ewes.
Farmer Thomas Jackson, who also raises cattle, said visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about the realities of farming.
He said: “We just want everyone to have a fun and interesting day, cuddling a sheep and learning something.
“Learning a little is what life is all about.”
The day is also organized with the Huntly and Insch branches of the NFU.
The friendly farmers from the branch will be at the event to answer questions about any part of farming.
Agricultural artists, who use art to communicate with the farming community, will also attend the event.
Cups of tea and other refreshments will also be provided, to raise money for the Lumsden defibrillators project.
A donation to the Scottish charity Air Ambulance will also be accepted on the same day.
“It’s all about reconnecting and getting people up close and personal with animals,” said Mr. Jackson.
