The (oak) Gordon Trefoil Guild’s 80th anniversary was celebrated at Fetternear Hall near Inverurie on Thursday.
Among the acorn challenges the guild faced was collecting 80 items for the Aberdeenshire North food bank that had been graded by the Trussel Trust.
Marbeth Ritchie of the Trussel Trust thanked the union for their generosity.
“We’ve really collected quite a few items, more than 80 in all, and they’re all good for the food bank,” said Audrey Jeffries, chairwoman of the Gordon Trefoil Guild.
