The Flash movie trailer shows Glasgow filming locations

The Flash movie crew has taken over Downtown in the summer of 2021 with a number of action-packed scenes that will wow audiences.

The movie will see Ezra Miller star alongside Ben Affleck with a release date scheduled for Friday, June 16th.

The new trailer released overnight revealed that we can expect to see the city itself starring in the feature with multiple shots instantly recognizable as Glasgow.

One of the dramatic clips shows Batman racing through George Square on a motorbike in a scene we spotted in July 2021.

Another excerpt follows the chase through the streets of downtown as an American-style police car spins through the air in slow motion.

Many will be eager to see the blockbuster hit in cinemas after the Batgirl movie, which was shot in and around the city in early 2022, was canceled due to reported poor reception at demos.
