Last year, nearly 400 dachshunds and other family dogs enjoyed all of the activities on offer.
Visitors will start their day with a tour of Castle Park, followed by a Weiner race, an agility course, several fun show classes, and finally a fancy dress lesson.
There is also an award for young wizard and general champion for fun classes and also for costume.

Dedicated breeders of dachshunds and house pets have provided impressive prizes to many award winners, and there are many rosettes to be offered for all seasons.
There will be many commercial stalls and restaurants for many families and friends to enjoy while accompanying their pet on this fun day

The organizers are very grateful to Thirlestane Castle for kindly allowing the Scottish Dachshund Club to hold the German Fun Day for another year there.
This year, Dachshund Fun Day supports IVDD and Dachshund Rescue in Scotland.
All reports from last year confirmed that it was a happy and successful day enjoyed by the many sausages and their families.
The organizers say they very much hope to make this year even more enjoyable for everyone present.
