Texas Right to Life has called out the blatant pro-abortion bias in the mainstream media that spreads the lies of the abortion industry.
The organization’s president, Dr. John Sego, says in an email late Monday that the reporters are “perverting the truth” to make every American believe that the pro-life movement “is nothing but an anti-science, hate-filled conspiracy to control women.”
But because of the media’s willingness to repeat the lies told by the abortion lobby, they are making themselves “an appendage of the abortion industry,” as Seago proclaims.
Most of the battle is about words, Seago suggests, because whoever controls the words controls the narrative.
“They say ‘it’s just a fetus,’ not a child,” notes Seago. “They say ‘intermittent electrical impulses’, not a heartbeat. They say ‘reproductive justice,’ not ending a human life.”
Moreover, left-wing reporters “continue to distort facts, report misinformation, and uncritically quote confused doctors in their stories without a doubt,” says Seago.
As a recent example, Seago links to an MSNBC report from last week that “slammed” the right to life in Texas, suggesting that it is “disingenuous” to require doctors to follow the letter of the law.
The media’s pro-abortion slant is not only disturbing, Seago insists, it’s “deadly,” because what’s at stake is the life of the unborn child.
