Tekashi 6ix9ine was rushed to the hospital via ambulance Tuesday night in Florida after being jumped on by a group of men in a sauna at LA Fitness.
The Stoopid artist was beaten up in the ambush, his attorney Lance Lazzaro said. TMZ.
His lawyer said the 26-year-old rapper, who had no security at the time, did his best to defend himself but was outnumbered by his attackers.
The Bushwick, New York, native was rushed to a nearby medical facility after people heard the noise and the facility’s manager called police and emergency services.
Fefe, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is seen in a photo obtained by the outlet with a swollen face and a gash near his cheek. Insiders told the outlet that his jaw, ribs, and back were also injured in the violent incident.

Tekashi’s lawyer said 6ix9ine would contact federal authorities to coordinate additional security measures in the aftermath of the attack.
The rapper was spotted last month in an Instagram post showing a tin can containing stacks of cash.
The artist was released from federal prison in early 2020 following his 2019 racketeering ruling.
He has faced numerous charges including racketeering, attempted murder, possession of a firearm and assault with a weapon. He had faced a minimum sentence of 47 years and life in prison in this case.
The music artist has reached a plea deal in the case, as he was accused of multiple crimes when he was a member of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
As part of the plea bargain, Tekashi 6ix9ine testified against several gang members.
It was not immediately clear if the incident at Los Angeles Fitness Tuesday was related to his past legal issues and behaviour.
