Reno Omokri has defended a Nigerian bride who went viral after she shared photos from her deflowerment as proof of her virginity status.

The bride identified as Ihechi Mary Ebe set tongues wagging as she shared the photos online.

Many Nigerians had lambasted her for sharing the photos online. Among them, was a Twitter User identified as, Olusola Oyetioluwole who berated her for sharing the photos online rather than with her family members.

Reacting to it, Reno Omokri tackled him and others as he wondered why Nigerians appreciate promiscuity more than virginity.

Shading the surgically enhanced celebrities who are OAPs by day but prostitute by night, he wondered why people never complained when they expose their bodies.

He noted that the African culture and the scripture promoted public proof of virginity.

He stated that if he was the President of the country he would have honored her by decorating her with a ” National Honour”, so as to promote chastity.

He wrote:

When our surgically enhanced celebrity who are OAPs by day, and small girls with a big god by night, publicly expose their naked overused and overworked body parts why don’t you complain?

In our African culture, and in scripture proof of your virginity was publicised. Deuteronomy 22:13.

It is a thing of honour and shouldn’t be hidden. If I were President, I would have given that wife a National Honour. We need more of her likes. We can’t keep hiding out virginity and promoting promiscuity”.

In another post, he countered those bashing the bride as he noted how Nigerians stood up for BBN married housemate Tega when she had an affair with fellow housemate, Boma.

He questioned why critics should be bashing her when they campaigned for and celebrated Tega. He stated that they were part of the “wrongs in the country”.

He described Ihechi Mary Ebe as an epitome of African Woman as he showered prayers on her.

Previously, he had declared his admiration for the bride, as he stated that anyone who keeps their virginity deserves to brag about it. According to him, virginity until marriage is a virtue while premarital sex is a virus.

He advised youths to keep their virginity despite pressure and mockery from their peers as they can never be like them.
