Rangers star Ryan Kent has sounded a warning over a Leeds United transfer

The winger’s contract with Ibrox will expire in the coming months.

The Englishman, along with some other main characters, are free to leave the Light Blues at the end of the season.

Kent is one of many high-profile names that cannot be left unsaid. Alfredo Morelos, Scott Arfield, Alan McGregor, Philip Hilander, and Ryan Jack are the others.

The 26-year-old joined Ibrox from Liverpool in an initial love move, before making a permanent move in the summer of 2019 for a reported £7m.

Michael Bell recently revealed that he is set to sit down with Kent and other players to try and work out a deal that will see them stay at Ibrox over the coming seasons.

Speculation has been bubbling about Kent’s future for some time now.

One club that has been frequently linked with the striker is Leeds United.

But Alan Hutton believes one factor in Kent’s final decision could be down to the degree to which Leeds play next season.

If it was a tournament, Hutton asked Kent to stay in Glasgow.

Hutton was asked before Football from the inside If Kent is interested, may Leeds be kept away from the term.

He replied, “I wouldn’t if it were me. I can only speak from my point of view and when I left Rangers I didn’t want to quit playing in the Champions League or the European Championships to go to a Championship team.”

“It’s not disrespectful to this league, it’s just that sometimes the grass isn’t always greener.

“I have a feeling he wants to stay. I think he can do good things at Rangers. Your head will only turn if he’s a good option for you and I don’t see the championship as that.”
