Police provide an update after 3 cars crashed on Byris Road in Glasgow

999 crews were called to the intersection of Perris Road and Havelock Street around 2pm on Thursday afternoon.

We previously reported that the damaged vehicles involved in a multi-vehicle crash disrupted traffic for approximately two hours.

Vehicles were moved and the road was fully opened to motorists around 4.25pm.

The force has now launched an investigation into the incident.

Officers are still at the scene and it is not known if anyone was injured during the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called to a three-vehicle crash on Perris Road, Glasgow, at approximately 1.55pm on Thursday 23 March 2023.

“Investigations are ongoing and officers are still at the scene.”
