Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday has written an heartfelt tribute to her late mum.
It’s been over a month since the curvy actress lost her mum to stomach complications in September.
Marking one month of her death, Nkechi wiped out her Instagram page and dedicated several posts to her late mum.
She revealed how her mother called her few days before her death to pray for her. She wondered if she knew about her death hence her last prayers.
She noted how her mother taught her to work hard hence the reason why many think she looks older than her age.
She stated that the insults she took online was for her, so she could give her mother the best of things.
She revealed that her mother spoke to her depressed days following her death, to keep the family name up. Nkechi revealed that she is the bread winner of the family, a title which she has been holding for years and isn’t ashamed of.
She added that her UK visa, which she has been struggling to get for months, got given to her a day after her mother passed on. She revealed how her mother advised her to stick with her boo, Falegan Opeyemi David as he is a good man and was in support of their union.
“Exactly one month today I lost my Best friend 23 – 09 – 2021 A day I will never forget in a flash. Mummy you were my back bone, I remember you called me on the 19th and said a short prayer that touched my soul. Did you know you would leave 23rd? Only God knows But I promise to keep your legacy. Mummy alot of people had nice things to say about you. I am proud to be your child Afianma Yes you are Gone but never forgotten. You taught me how to hustle like a man hence the reason alot doubt my age – Cus I look older due to hustle and bustle . I took all the insult on the gram just so you don’t lack anything. I was useless weeks when you passed – But you said to me NKECHI Stand up, Don’t let my family name go down like that, I have a large family to take care of yes, YES I am the bread winner of my family a title I amnot ashamed not afraid to carry cus for years I have carried it Diligently and made sure both my extended family lacks nothing, Not like I have it all together but God somehow managed to bless me to be a blessing to everyone around me.
