Nicola Peltz reveals she and Brooklyn Beckham are ‘saving up’ for a home – despite billionaire roots

This week, Nicola Peltz shared her hopes of “saving money” to buy a home and put down some family roots with husband Brooklyn Beckham.

The heiress, 28, explained that the couple hopes to raise children in Los Angeles due to work commitments, and are currently trying to raise money for their “dream home.”

From a very wealthy family, Nelson, father of businessman Nicola, is believed to be worth $2.7 billion (£2.2 billion), while her husband hails from the multi-millionaire brood of the Beckhams.

Talking to Cosmopolitan UK For the April/May issue, Nicola explained that she and Brooklyn, 24, wanted to raise a family in New York City, but decided to work towards establishing a base in Los Angeles.

She said, “We had a house in L.A. at one point, but we sold it because we were like, ‘Oh, we’re going to Florida for a while.'” Then we’d like to say, “No, just kidding, we have to be in L.A. for work.” It was very silly of us.

Now we are saving money to get our dream home. But honestly, we both love New York so much. If our business is there, we’ll be there in five seconds.

Nicola hopes to make her mark in Hollywood with a budding acting career, while Brooklyn gets her start as a chef.

Brooklyn is the eldest son of former footballer David and singer-turned-designer Victoria, who has a net worth of $450 million (£368 million).

Tied the knot last year, the couple held their nuptials at Nelson’s lavish Palm Beach estate, which sprawls across 13 acres of land and overlooks the ocean.

Speaking about married life with the London native, Nicola shared during the interview: ‘We’re always there for each other. If we can’t be physically together, we text or talk in some form. Communication is so important to both of us that there is never any guesswork.

While focusing on building her career, she also admitted that the couple hopes to welcome children in the future.

Brooklyn and Nicola are believed to be living in an apartment in Los Angeles, after selling the home they bought together.

They moved into their first home together in June 2021 while considering moving, with the property reportedly set them back $10.5 million.

To keep their relationship strong with a close bond, Nicola shared that the couple is always together — wherever they live.

We spend every night together. Sometimes my friends come over to sleep and we’ll all sleep on the couch, or they’ll stay in my bed and Brooklyn will go to sleep in the other room. Even with business travel, we’re working around the issue.
