Selkirk qualified for the final after topping Group A, one point ahead of Hawick.
They drew 20-20 in the opening Premier League game of the season, and Selkirk then beat fellow Premier League side Jed-Forest 36-10 in November, giving them seven points.
Hawick’s 22-12 win over the Jed meant they finished with six points.
Melrose booked their spot in the final with a 29-26 win over Peebles on Friday 10 February.
That result saw them top Group B with 14 points from three matches, having defeated Kelso 16-14 in October, and Ceremony 63-15 in November.
Melrose’s last win was in 2019 and Sotters’ win was in 2010.
The match report will appear in the Border Telegraph this week.
