The 25-year-old Bulldogs prop is engaged to glamor model Kristi Young after the pair met at church.

King and Young are determined to stay true to their Christian beliefs, and will not live together or have sex with each other until after their marriage later this year.

The couple now attend Glow Church together in South Sydney, but Young said she wasn’t always sure of a blossoming relationship given his profession.
“When I met him I was like ‘Oh you’re a footballer, red flag, what have I got myself into,'” she said.
‘certainly [his teammates are supportive] …but when we first started dating, they were like, “As if you are.” [abstaining from sex].
The Bible says, “deny the flesh, and God will bless you”: and we have seen such fruit from that.
“I feel so lucky to have met Max…we are puzzle pieces that fit together and it all comes down to God,” said the glamorous model.
