The popular morning show was thrown into disarray with a last-minute presenter change with TV doctor Hilary Jones having to stand in for it.
Good Morning Britain presenters Kate Garroway and Ben Sheppard gave viewers a daily preview of Lorraine’s programme, 45 minutes before she was due to go on air.
However, the anchors are met by a despondent Lauren holding a sign revealing she is unable to speak.
Help! I’ve lost my voice – any treatments that have worked for you (and yes – well aware some may say I’m unable to speak can only be a blessing) 😂

Smiling, Lauren held a sign for the camera that read: “I’ve lost my voice, can Hilary take over?”
The fan-favorite paramedic swooped in to introduce what was coming up on the show when it started at 9 a.m.
Dr. Hillary told fans how Dr. Amir will help him when the show starts at 9 AM.
The presenters seemed amused by Lauren’s tag with Kate teasing: “I’d be like watching her on subtitles.”

The presenter wrote: “Help! I’ve lost my voice – any treatments that have worked for you (and yes – I’m well aware some may say I’m unable to speak can only be a blessing.”
Viewers raced to her comments with therapies offering to help.
Rep. Jess Phillips commented, “Put a straw in a glass of water and buzz. @StephanieHirst taught me this.”
A second fan rang out: “Lozenges, inhaling steam, gargling with salt water and clearing the nasal passages with a nasal shower. Good luck!”
A third wrote: “Mix Lemsip with a sip of Highland Park and a spoonful of local honey where you’re staying – on top with hot water and you’re away.”
