Hamas calls for Palestinians to increase presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque – Middle East Monitor

Hamas yesterday asked the Palestinians to increase their presence in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to undermine Israel’s plans aimed at dividing it.

In a statement, Hamas condemned the ongoing raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque by “Israeli colonial settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.”

She also criticized the latest move by Israeli settler groups and the occupation authorities to extend their morning raids into the mosque in an attempt to impose segregation at the Muslim site.

The Palestinian movement reiterated that Israel’s occupation plans aimed at Al-Aqsa Mosque Judaism and imposing its sovereignty on it will not change the historical facts nor will they destroy the Islamic identity of the mosque.

Hamas asked the Palestinians in the West Bank and Israel to strengthen their presence in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in protest against Israel’s actions and to protect it.
