Actor Paisley stars in the new thriller Plane, in which his character, a pilot, rescues passengers from a lightning strike with a perilous landing, only to find that surviving the landing was just the beginning.
While filming one of the stunts on the plane before the emergency landing, the 53-year-old admitted that he did a stunt wrong and split his head.

talk with metro“I had to do this silly trick,” he said, “I’m basically walking along the plane and the plane is shuddering.
“There’s one piece I’m supposed to hit, I have to walk along and the plane is shaking and then I have to pretend I’m thrown.
It’s like ‘get your head banging up there on the overhead pods.'”
“The first one I did, I didn’t really do it right. The second time I just walk along and fly up—I missed the soft part and slashed my head.”
“That was a tricky stunt, and sometimes the easiest looking stunts are actually the most difficult and just not fun.”
