McGregor, the professional boxer’s best friend, told me: “Scott will have a long road to recovery, but we’re so grateful he’s still here with us because things could have been different.
“Scott joined and was about to start a new company and won’t be able to return to work for a long time due to the seriousness of what happened to him.
“So any help to help his family cover the bills and live to a full recovery will be a heavy burden on their shoulders.”
