Fallon Sherock became the first woman to finish ninth in PDC history at the Winmau Challenge Tour event in Germany on Saturday.
Cherokee achieved the historic moment in their opening match against Marco Verhofstadt in Hildesheim, finishing 5-3.
The Challenge Tour includes non-PDC Tour Cardholders who attended eligible 2023 schools.
Sherrock rose to prominence in 2019 by winning two matches at the PDC World Championship, becoming the first woman to taste victory at Alexandra Palace.
She then achieved the best finish by a woman in a major tournament by reaching the quarter-finals of the 2021 Grand Slam of Darts, and reached the final of the Nordic Darts Masters that same year before losing to Michael van Gerwen.
