A huge crowd of fans headed to Aberdeen for the convention’s first two days of action as Comic Con North East returns for 2023.

Event organizers Monopoly Events once again brought an all-star cast to meet with fans including four of the previous incarnations of Doctor Who – Peter Davidson, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann along with companion Sophie Aldred (Ace).

Other headliners included Back to the Future star Leah Thompson, Walking Dead stars Tom Payne, Seth Gilliam, Steven Ogg, Chandler Riggs, Sons of Anarchy stars Tommy Flanagan, Kim Coates, and Mark Boone Jr. , and Stranger Things fan favorites Alec Otgoff, Grace Van Dien and Kara Buono.

Gotham and Dog Soldiers legend Sean Pertwee opened the daytime morning Q&A sessions with Two Doors Down stars Alex Norton and Arabella Weir, along with show creators Simon Carlyle and Gregor Sharp, rounding out the afternoon.

Hacksaw wrestling legend Jim Duggan discussed his moves with fans and there was a huge line for autographs from fans for voice actor Nolan North.

And in wrestling, WrestleZone has been busy settling some old feuds both in and out of the ring.

No convention event is complete without a healthy dose of cosplay, showcasing the creative talents of the participants, with young fans of the Zelda series, across all ages of Star Wars, many Dr’s and the entire Incredibles family flying in from Forres for the event.

Vendors filled the hall with an unparalleled array of merchandise, from lanyards and badges, to artwork, props, costumes and some delicious cake for those feeling hungry.
