After selling out on Saturday, and almost completely sold out on Sunday at Comic Con North East, Monopoly Events organizers are looking to expand the show to fans next year with the event returning on the weekend of March 23-24 next year.

Andy Click, CEO of Monopoly Events, said in a statement: “After the overwhelming success of our sale weekend event, we are excited to announce the next phase of our expansion of P&J Live.

“We will move from the Expo Center to a P&J Live arena that is approximately twice the size of our current footprint.

“With the support of the local community, we aim to steadily grow this show for its eventual use in both the venues and all of the spaces we aim for in all of our shows, to build on its potential and make it one of our great shows.

“Going into the arena means more content with more room for prop attractions and builds, which is very welcome.

“Like we’ve said from the beginning, this is a team effort, and we really need your support to make this one of our great shows, so buy your tickets early when they go on sale, including autographs and photo tickets when they go on sale to guests, if you want to see those big names.

“Early sales help us gauge demand and help determine budget allocations for celebrities.

“The good news is we’ve seen steady growth, the show is up over 20 per cent in numbers and a few hundred tickets were sold on Sundays and Saturdays in full, spending on autographs and photo ops has increased over 20 per cent and it’s the steady growth we’re looking forward to.” to achieve.

“We really enjoy building shows like this and it’s a pleasure to see them develop and thrive like ours in Liverpool.

“We are really committed to putting on a great show in Aberdeen in the coming years that will rival anything in the world we can put on, but the biggest player in this game is you guys.

“If you want it you can have it, we’ll make it easier but we need you to keep supporting this event the way you’ve been doing it, tell your friends all about it and get them to follow us on social media, buy your tickets when they go on sale and we’ll do the rest.”

“Thank you so much for such a great show, it was great to see you all again.”

Tickets for the 2024 event are on sale on the website at www.comicconscotlandnortheast.co.uk.
