Hills Road Sixth Form College girls under 18 have continued their preparations for the upcoming Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens competition by picking up some silvers during their latest outing.
The team along with a handful of other teams were invited to compete in the inaugural Bishop’s Stortford High School Sevens event.
They got off to a positive start during the first phase of the competition with victories over Robert Clack College, Oundle School and the home team.
The team then successfully progressed through their last four matches to set up a final against Oundell, where they took six tries compared to the opposition’s three to claim the title.
More than 800 teams will compete in the upcoming Rosslyn Park Championships, which will run from March 20th to March 24th.
Hills Street is laid out alongside three English and one Welsh schools.
