The adorable spectacle of BBs on show came to Buckie recently when the town hosted the Banffshire Battalion Parade.

Our colleagues from Banff and Torref joined representatives from host company Buckie for the event. Spectators were treated to the sight of companies marching downtown, complete with colors flying and bugles playing.

Captain Allan McIntosh, Captain in the 1st Buckeye Boys’ Company, said: “There were over 250 officers and boys of the Banffshire Regiment on parade at Buckeye, followed by service at the South and West Chapel.

“We are also pleased to welcome former BB Director Scotland Tom Boyle to the service, presenting long service awards to 17 officers of the Banffshire Regiment.

In total, the officers gave 417 years of service to the boys’ brigade.”

1st Buckie is currently settling into her new home in the Marchmont Crescent business district, having made the move at the beginning of the year.
