BBN Efe Releases Press Statement Amidst Being Backlist By BBN


BBN 2017 winner, Efe Ejeba has addressed rumours of being blacklisted by the show’s organisers.

Following the success of this year’s BBN grand finale where last year’s winner, Laycon performed; a Twitter user noted how Efe who was also a singer wasn’t given an opportunity to perform despite winning. He wondered what Efe did to Multichoice as he sought for forgiveness on his behalf.

Media personality, Noble Igwe while commenting on his tweet, fuelled the rumours that the singer has been blacklisted. He stated that Efe’s pride led to his being ostracized. According to him, Efe refused coming down from his vehicle until the boss shows up.

Refuting the claims, Efe stated that he was from a humble background where pride doesn’t rule. He stated how unimaginable it was for him to be painted with such character.

He stated that the scenario which Noble Igwe painted was false and never happened.

He went on to appreciate Multichoice die the opportunity they gave him to shape his life and brand. He expressed how immensely grateful he is and how he would forever be indebted to them.

Shutting down the rumours, he asserted that he has a cordial relationship with Multichoice as they are one family.

He told his fans who are eager for him to perform on BBN, to exercise patience as there are organizational prerogatives.

He thanked them for their constant support as he is confident that he would performed at their future events.

He explained to the fan that

Let me take this opportunity to thank Multichoice Nigeria as an organization and her members of staff once again for giving me the platform to showcase my talent as a music artist thus creating vast amounts of opportunities, shaping my person and brand today. I don’t take the platform for granted and it is a well cherished investment. I’m immensely grateful and commend your continuous effort in empowering the youths of our country Nigeria.
I want to state categorically that I have a cordial relationship with Multichoice Nigeria and we are one family.
To my teeming fans and supporters whose expectations would have been for me to perform on the platform/show, it is understandable and I implore you exercise patience as there are organizational prerogatives and I’m confident that in the future we’ll work together. Thank you for your unwavering love and relentless show of support.
