An immigrant apparently jumped from a flyover in Texas, and several more were taken into custody Wednesday after a police chase in El Paso, according to exclusive photos.
The group, riding in an SUV, drove Texas Department of Public Safety agents to U.S. Route 85 near Texas State Highway 1966 in El Paso around 9:45 a.m., according to photos and an eyewitness account. They were then said to have dumped the car in the middle of the road.
The passengers dispersed, many hitting oncoming traffic, the witness said. Meanwhile, two more ran in a different direction. One of the men, the eyewitness said, ran towards the edge of an overpass and jumped off the structure—plunging several feet to the ground below.

Pictures show that the second was following him, but an agent eventually caught up to him.
The eyewitness said that the police gave CPR to the motionless man for more than 25 minutes. Details of his condition were not immediately available.
Pictures show that the rest were later arrested. Border guards were also spotted at the scene.

A DPS spokesperson was not immediately able to provide The Post with information regarding the incident. A representative from US Customs and Border Protection said the agency was not involved.
The census boasts that El Paso has a population of over 867,000. The west Texas city, which borders Mexico, has become the epicenter of an ongoing migrant crisis through 2022 as it was the busiest border crossing in the United States with up to 6,000 asylum seekers a week trying to enter the country.
Last month, 17 immigrants in El Paso were rescued from storm drains after they got stuck while trying to enter the country illegally.
The immigrant attack prompted the city’s mayor to declare a state of emergency in December.
