A young man has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow

999 crews were called to South Street, in the Scotstoun area, at 10:30 p.m. Sunday evening.

Police have received reports of an accident involving a car and a pedestrian.

Walker, aged 23, was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

No further details were disclosed about his condition.

Road police officers are now appealing for information.

Sergeant Gordon Stewart said: “Our investigations are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident to contact us.

“I would also like to appeal to anyone who has been driving in the area and may have dash cam footage that could assist our investigation to contact us.”

Anyone with information is requested to contact the police on 101 quoting Incident No. 3597 on Sunday 12 March 2023.
