A trailer has been released for the movie Tetris which was filmed in Glasgow

The movie, due for release on AppleTV+, was shot in the city over two years ago from December 2020 to February 2021.

Tetris, starring Taron Egerton, follows the true story of a legal battle as Egerton’s character attempts to purchase the rights to the popular video game of the same name from its creator, who lives in the Soviet Union.

It stars Toby Jones, Roger Allan, Anthony Boyle, and Ben Miles.

The first trailer for the movie has now been released, which appears to show at least one building on Paisley West Road.

Filming took place in Glasgow at several locations including West Regent Street, Paisley Road West, Morrison Street, Battlefield Road and Hampden Park.

Scenes were also filmed at Glasgow Prestwick Airport.

Tetris is set to launch on AppleTV+ on March 31st.
