At least four PKK terrorists who escaped from a terrorist camp in northern Iraq have surrendered to Turkish security forces, the country’s Ministry of National Defense announced on Saturday. Anadolu reports.
The terrorists laid down their weapons at a Turkish border control post in southeastern Sirnak province, a statement said.
The only way out for the terrorists is to surrender to justice, he said.
In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK, which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkiye, the US and the EU, is responsible for the death of over 40,000 people, including women, children and infants.
PKK terrorists have whistleblowers in northern Iraq, across the Turkish border, which they use to plan attacks on Turkey.
Turkiye has carried out a series of attacks to clear the region of terrorists.
