Nigeria Singer and Grammy award winner, Burna Boy, has set tongues wagging as he claims he is not a Nigerian artiste but he is from Nigeria.

The singer made this confusing statement  following a Twitter discussion about his achievements as an International artiste.

A Davido fan account identified as, A Better Time, coined from Davido’s album “A Better Time”, called Burnaboy an average star back in Nigeria and Africa at large.

He said of Burna during the discussion:

“He was just an average star back in Nigeria and Africa at large, more like an artist with prospects, unlike his peers who had to do it their own way from day one”.
