الحرب الإسرائيلية الفلسطينية: إيران أبلغت الولايات المتحدة أنها لا تريد تصعيدًا إقليميًا، بحسب التقرير

أبلغت إيران الولايات المتحدة بأنها لا تسعى إلى اتساع نطاق الصراع بين إسرائيل وحماس، لكن المزيد من الهجمات الإسرائيلية على غزة يمكن أن تؤدي إلى امتداد إقليمي، وفقًا لتصريحات أدلى بها كبير الدبلوماسيين الإيرانيين يوم الجمعة.

وقال وزير الخارجية حسين أمير عبد اللهيان في مقابلة مع صحيفة فايننشال تايمز: “على مدى الأربعين يومًا الماضية، تم تبادل الرسائل بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، عبر قسم المصالح الأمريكية في السفارة السويسرية في طهران”.

وردا على الولايات المتحدة، أبلغ أمير عبد اللهيان واشنطن[ington that “Iran does not want the war to spread, but due to the approach adopted by the US and Israel in the region, if the crimes against the people of Gaza and the West Bank are not stopped, any possibility could be considered, and a wider conflict could prove inevitable”.

Iran has constantly said that it was not made aware of the 7 October assault on Israel, something that Washington also agrees with. 

Iranian diplomats have crisscrossed the region and diplomatically have used Israel’s bloody assault on Gaza to shore up Tehran’s regional ambitions, by amongst other things meeting Egyptian and Saudi officials – two countries it has had a frosty relationship with.

Amirabdollahian has also pushed back on the idea that Iran controls regional groups like Hamas, Hezbollah in Lebanon, or the Houthis in Yemen. 

Each of these groups has its own political identity rooted in their countries, but the foreign minister warned that they “are not indifferent towards the killing of their Muslim and Arab peers in Palestine”.

Amirabdollahian dismissed that the US had threatened Iran with an attack if Hezbollah launched on Israel. 

Instead, the Iranian diplomat warned that Washington was adding fuel to the regional fire while asking Iran “to exercise restraint”.

Amirabdollahian added that American threats towards Hezbollah would be unlikely to work and the Lebanese group would make its own decisions.

“Our military officials are of the opinion that the deployment of US aircraft carriers near our region, which makes them accessible, is not a strong point for the US. Rather, it makes them more vulnerable to possible strikes,” Amirabdollahian said.

ووفقا لتقرير لوكالة رويترز هذا الأسبوع، أبلغ المرشد الأعلى الإيراني آية الله علي خامنئي زعيم حماس إسماعيل هنية في وقت سابق من هذا الشهر أن طهران لن تنضم إلى حرب ضد إسرائيل.

وقالت رويترز نقلا عن “ثلاثة مسؤولين كبار” إن خامنئي قال إنه نظرا لعدم تقديم إشعار مسبق بشأن هجوم 7 أكتوبر، فإن إيران ستقدم الدعم السياسي فقط بدلا من “التدخل بشكل مباشر”.

وأضافت أن خامنئي أبلغ هنية أنه يجب عليه “إسكات تلك الأصوات” داخل المجموعة التي تتطلع إلى إشراك إيران وحزب الله في القتال “بكامل قوتها”.

وقال التقرير إن حزب الله تفاجأ أيضًا بالمذبحة.

ونقلت رويترز عن قائد لم تذكر اسمه في الجماعة الإرهابية اللبنانية قوله: “استيقظنا على الحرب”.

وفي 7 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول، دعا القائد العسكري لحماس محمد ضيف حلفائه الإقليميين إلى الانضمام إلى النضال. وقال في رسالة صوتية: “إخواننا في المقاومة الإسلامية في لبنان وإيران واليمن والعراق وسوريا، هذا هو اليوم الذي تتحد فيه مقاومتكم مع شعبكم في فلسطين”.

وحتى الآن، قدمت إيران وحلفاؤها في العراق وسوريا ولبنان واليمن دعماً فاتراً، دون الانخراط بشكل كامل في الحرب.
